Youth Basketball
Youth Basketball encourages and promotes healthy kids, families and communities by prioritizing family involvement, wholesome competition and the value of participation – not just winning. Kids and teens learn team-building skills, a sense of fair play, and mutual respect for others, while also growing as individuals and developing a positive self-image.
The Youth Basketball season is held during the winter months. Youth Basketball camp is during the summer. These programs are for youth ages 5 – 14. All practices and games are held at Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA.
Age group eligibility is determined by age as of 9/30/2025. This is so kids will play with others in the same grade level as themselves. Playing UP in age level is an option but you will need to first register in the appropriate age group and then speak to the program coordinator, Jenna Boswell. Her email is [email protected].

It’s time to lace up those high tops and hit the court for the 2026 Basketball Season!
Weekly, 1 hour practices begin the week of January 20th, 2026.
Games are on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm beginning February 7th, 2026.
We will have a “Knock of the Chill – Skills & Drills” sessions for all registrants to come, meet the coaches, and work on some skills. This gives us the chance to get to know kids and balance teams for the season. This will take place at Bluestone High School on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, 5:30pm to 6:15pm.
