Youth Cheer offers the perfect opportunity for youth to develop self-reliance and self-confidence on an individual level while stressing the importance of teamwork within a cheer squad. Cheerleaders will learn basic skills, chants, cheers, jumps, stunts, dance some tumbling while experiencing performances in front of a crowd. Cheerleaders will perform and cheer during youth basketball games and at halftime.

Youth Cheer is held during the winter months for youth ages 5 – 16. Practices will be 1 hour per week, Monday through Thursday, beginning January 13th. Games be on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm beginning February 1st. All practices and games are held at Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA.
