Pickleball
Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports, and the Mecklenburg County YMCA is proud to offer a variety of Pickleball programs for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, our courts and programs are designed to help you enjoy this exciting sport.
Pickleball 101
Want to learn the newest sport taking the world by storm? Look no further than Pickleball 101! In this 4 week session, you’ll learn the basics of Pickleball like the rules, lingo, and best strategies from our seasoned instructors. These lessons are offered periodically, so don’t miss your chance to cook in the kitchen!
The first session of 2025 will be on Tuesdays at 5pm beginning March 18th and ending April 8th.
Spots are limited and a waitlist will be open.

Skills Trainings
For the pickleball player looking to up their game, we offer various Skills Training courses! In these sessions lead by seasoned Pickleball trainers, you’ll learn how to hone your pickleball prowess and take your game to the next level. All classes are held at our Clarksville Branch on the Joe Davidson Multi Use Court unless otherwise communicated.

Tournament Play
Join us for the Spring 2025 Pickleball Tournament presented by Hites Clothing!
Friday, May 9th, 2025 on the Joe Davidson Multi Use Court at our Clarksville Branch location, 1567 Noblin Farm Rd.
It will be Mixed Doubles pairing chosen via Blind Draw with 3 play categories – Under 50, Ages 50-74, and Ages 75+.
Limited to 20 teams.
