Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports, and the Mecklenburg County YMCA is proud to offer a variety of Pickleball programs for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, our courts and programs are designed to help you enjoy this exciting sport.
Pickleball 101

Curious about pickleball? This beginner-friendly program is the perfect place to start! Pickleball 101 introduces players to the fundamentals of one of the fastest-growing sports in the country in a fun, supportive, and low-pressure environment.
Participants will learn the basics including rules, scoring, court positioning, and essential skills like serving, dinking, and volleying. Our experienced instructors will guide you through drills and gameplay to help build confidence and get you rallying in no time.
This program is designed for all beginners—whether you’ve never picked up a paddle or just want a refresher. Equipment can be provided if needed.
Come ready to move, learn, and have fun while discovering your new favorite sport!

For the pickleball player looking to up their game, we offer various skills training classes and courses. In these sessions lead by seasoned Pickleball trainers, you’ll learn how to hone your pickleball prowess and take your game to the next level. All classes are held at our Clarksville Branch on the Joe Davidson Multi Use Court unless otherwise communicated.
